in the maker's studio - lifestyle photo session

sam of gypset collective moved into a new studio space in college park and i had the pleasure of hanging out with her one morning to mark the start of this sweet new era.

sam in her college park studio

sam’s been making jewelry for years now, and has had multiple studio spaces, but this one truly feels the most her. i love the community here in orlando and it’s been so awesome to watch her develop and grow as a person, creative, small business owner and mom too - what can’t she do!

i loved being a fly on the wall for a moment while sam did her thing in this new space. being able to watch other small biz buddies grow in the ways they want to is such a treat. i left feeling inspired and honored to capture some beginning moments of this next phase of her business.

i think this is why i love photography so much - it means that for a moment i can stop time, freeze the in-between and tell a story with stills.

be sure to check out sam’s work either online or now in-person. your new favorite piece of jewelry is waiting for you. :)
