harmony foliage farm

deb and robin at harmony foliage farms are creating some of the most beautiful hybrid houseplants i’ve ever seen. the colors, and shapes of these special plants was honestly amazing. the greenhouses are filled to the brim with these plants that they wholesale to companies big and small.

i was honored when terrain asked me to shoot a profile on deb and the farm for their upcoming book on houseplants. upon arrival deb showed me her favorite plants and gave me a tour of all the greenhouses. i learned so much in our time together about how hybrids are made and how to care for these special plants in just our one hour together.

something πŸͺ„magical πŸͺ„happens when i’m able to capture people in their environment. their shoulders drop sooner, and their genuine smiles come in strong from the start. i think it’s because the ease of being β€˜ home β€˜ takes the a lot of the jitters away and deb and robin are proof of it !!

these kind of shoots really excited me and i’m so grateful to help this local small business be seen by so many for the beauty they are creating!!

head on over to my contact page if you’re a small business looking for some fresh photos of you doing your thing :)
